Silver Creek Kayaks provides everything you need—including kayaks and a full shuttle service—so all you need to bring is your swimsuit and a sense of adventure. On a sunny Idaho day, there’s no better way to cool off, unwind, and connect with nature. You may even spot a moose during your float!
We’ll meet you at the takeout location, where you'll leave your vehicle parked. From there, you’ll hop into our shuttle, and we’ll transport you—along with the kayaks—to the launch point. Once there, we’ll help you get set up and ready to start your float.
We recommend bringing layers, sunscreen, a hat, water shoes or sandals that can get wet, mosquito repellent, and plenty of water. Feel free to pack any other essentials for your comfort and enjoyment. Remember: Whatever you pack in, please pack it out. Let’s help keep the creek clean and beautiful for everyone!
Please arrive at the meeting location 15 minutes before your scheduled reservation time to ensure a smooth check-in and timely departure.
This scenic float typically takes about two hours if you simply relax and let the gentle current carry you. Along the way, you may encounter wildlife, including moose. If you see a moose in the water, please give it plenty of space and time to move on. If they’re on the bank, you’re welcome to float by quietly. You're welcome to bring food and drinks for the trip—just be sure to pack out everything you pack in. We also kindly ask that you avoid playing loud music. This creek is a shared space for both people and wildlife, and we all benefit from a peaceful, respectful environment.
Cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance will receive a full refund. Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds for cancellations made within 24 hours of your scheduled booking. We reserve the right to cancel any booking due to inclement weather or other safety concerns. In such cases, you will receive a full refund.
